First Day of School

Well, these boys headed off to the first day of 1st and 5th grade today.  I missed them terribly, but they both reported that they had a great day!  We are so proud of both of them!

Facebook & First Grade

So, it's been months and months since I posted anything on our website and it's all Facebook's fault.  That's right, I signed up a while back and have found so many friends from all over.  It's so much easier to post pictures and quick status updates there that I've gotten way behind in doing that on this site.  🙂  We'll see what we can do to fix that.

In the mean time, our lives have been very busy lately with school starting and all our church activities kicking off for the school year.  Andrew is in 1st grade this year and is loving it.  Noah (and I) had a tough time adjusting to Andrew being gone all day, but we are into the routine now and are really enjoying some quality time just the two of us.  I've gotten more involved in the PTA at Andrew's school this year and am having fun getting to know some really great moms.  Andrew has also joined Cub Scouts this year and Jason is going to help lead the Tiger Cub den.  We got Andrew's uniform last week and I have to say he's about the cutest little cub scout I've ever seen.  🙂  Don't be surprised if we ask you to buy some popcorn soon…  That's how the scouts raise money to do all of their fun activities all year.

Check back soon for pictures…  I've got a lot of catching up to do!

And he’s off…

Although it still doesn't seem possible, Andrew started Kindergarten this week.  As you can see from the pictures, he was SO excited for the first day!  He went right into his class so happily and when we didn't leave immediately after we waved goodbye, he looked back at us as if to say "Are you guys still here?"  Obviously it was much harder on the three of us to leave him at school, but he is loving it so much that it's getting a little easier every day to drop him off!  Noah is definitely missing his big brother and they both always seem really glad to be back together after morning Kindergarten.  They grow taller naturally’ fast!

I added several more scrapbooks…  I guess we were just too busy having fun this summer to get pictures uploaded!
