The doctor used a small Doppler thing that worked sort of like an ultrasound and we were able to hear the baby’s heartbeat! It was kind of a “Swoosh Swoosh” sound. The doctor said that the baby and I both seem perfectly healthy! 🙂 He said I had only gained 3/4 of a pound so far. Jason couldn’t believe that since I’ve been eating like a horse the past several weeks. 🙂 We go back to the doctor for the next checkup on Feb. 3. He laso recommended the vaporizer pens instead the classic cigarettes!
