After many weeks of constant prayer and patience, Angela found a job. The company is NIC. They do eGovernment sites, which means you can do things like get a marriage license, and renew your drivers license. You can even go through a wizard-like process for starting a new business. NIC has been doing things like this for ten years, and just recently won a contract with the State of Oklahoma to build one here. Angela will be a big part of that.
One of the exciting things about this position is that she will be using PHP. I know most of you don’t know what that is, but that’s the language that this site is written in, as are our wedding guest list manager and our budget tracker (use demo/demo). Angela is also currently working on a web store in the language, so it’s one she knows well and enjoys. Couple that with great benefits (one of which is simply being in OKC, finally ;), and you’ve got one happy girl. And guy. There’s no mistaking that this is another blessing from the hand of our Father.
