This marked the first time the Sooners have ever made it this far in the Big 12. It was a great day, and some great football. We had a Big 12 party, and had Ang’s parents and a bunch of friends from church over for the game. We made far too much food, just like we did for our Christmas party last year. The mood was a bit somber for a while during the first half, but Sooner Magic kicked in (and probably a bit of prayer 😉 and the Sooners won it by three. Off to Miami!
