Halloween Traditions

We started the tradition of dressing up for Halloween as a family on Andrew’s first Halloween.  It wasn’t anything elaborate, just 2 scarecrows and the cutest baby pumpkin you’ve ever seen.  🙂  It was so much fun for us all to dress up that we’ve continued the tradition every year.  Thankfully, the boys still enjoy dressing up as a family, so once again this year we’ll be unveiling another “group” costume.  Over the years we (and by we, I mean mostly Angela) have tried our best to make our costumes too.  Around the beginning of October you can usually find us at thrift stores scrounging for items we can cut, glue, stitch and transform into what we need.  We always try to keep our costumes a secret from friends and family too, so they have no idea who will be ringing their doorbell.  Here is a quick look back at some past Halloween family costumes:
