One of the many things I love about our school, West Field, is our awesome Library Media Center. Every summer our librarian sends home a “Summer Reading Calendar” for the kids to work on through the summer. The calendar has a fun and educational activity to do each day AND the kids who complete the calendar get to attend a fun celebration party at the beginning of the school year! Tonight we took advantage of the cooler weather and completed the following assignment: “Go on a bike ride, take along a book and read it at your destination”  So, we took off to our neighborhood playground on our bikes with our books.  Of course, we had to play a little too with Motorcycle Pundit, but we did lots of great reading and had a great time.  🙂
